Maya Architects successfully executed the feasibility study for a Proposed New Emergency Services Training Academy. This facility is to provide comprehensive emergency training in fully simulated environments, in a world class facility.
A pivotal stage of the project appraisal was to conduct a national and international tour to visit facilities, that could be used to refine the scale and scope of the project. The sites visited became pivotal to exploring the range of fire and rescue related training scenarios that exist and that are still needed.
The EMS Training Academy design proposal accommodates every type of training that has been seen, as well as additional training that has been identified from desktop studies. This results in a Fully Comprehensive Training Academy that provides the opportunity to simulate every type of scenario that could occur in the disaster management sector. Training complexes are proposed in an aerial array, providing efficiency in training and organisation of props.
