This project called for some elemental thinking. The client is a lovely lady who has dreamt of owning a moms and babes shop. Her vision for the shop was based on a fun and happy space, showcasing her retail stock, as well as an intimate space that she could use to discuss event planning with her clients.
The design solution was to line the walls with perimeter display shelving (with a storage area discreetly housed behind one row of shelves). This left the middle of the shop to furnish. The display units to be used in the middle of the shop are semi-circular in shape which allows for flexibility in the arrangement. Therefore, the client can change the central arrangement to best fit her stock or specials or just for a new look. These units have been designed with low level wheels that lock in place, to allow free movement when required. The colours are vibrant and happy and just what the client requested.
